Video sculpture and sitting piece in painted plywood. Diameter 171, height 52 (cm). Custom made pillow with viscoelastic polyurethane.
As a companion piece for the video installation Rotterdam, this work was made to function as a piece of seating furniture, as well as a video installation that dwells on the catastrophic implications of a systemic breakdown.
This work was made with the assistance of artists Pål Lersveen and Pia Rognes, and with support from Kunstsentrene i Norge (regionale prosjektmidler), The Norwegian Arts Council, Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond, Bergesenstiftelsen and Trondheim kommune.
